It's a real priviledge to share our property with a barred owl! Dick has named it Owlie. We see Owlie almost everyday either morning or evening and sometimes most of the day. The wetlands below us are obviously good hunting grounds. Please enjoy Owlie with me :)
You are not talking to yourself, and that is a beautiful owl! Thanks for sharing your photos. :)
ReplyDeleteThat owl is absolutely gorgeous/adorable. I am so jealous! I LOVE owls, and I don't think I've ever seen a wild one so close. Well, besides gliding in front of the car in the pitch-blackness of night! And that doesn't really count. LOL. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd PS, your photos are awesome. I wish I'd taken them. ;)
This is as close as I've been to an owl. Cool stuff ;-D
ReplyDeleteDefinitely cool stuff! :D
ReplyDeleteAw, what a precious little creature! He sure likes being in the spotlight! :)
ReplyDeleteHe sure does! We had 29 people here this last week-end and couldn't believe that Owlie stopped by for a performance :)
ReplyDeleteWow, this is so cool! You are lucky to have an owl friend! I can't believe he lets you get that close to take photos! :)
ReplyDeleteNot only does he/she let us get that close, we get poses! What a treat this has been.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Owlie!
